2018 a good year for some great reads!

Happy New Year to everyone.

We're looking forward to an exciting 2018, as it's the year we start publishing our own titles. The first cab off the rank looks like it will be Jorge Knijnik's World Cup Chronicles, a terrific read about the social, economic, political and cultural impacts of the 2014 World Cup on the Brazilian population. Jorge brings a unique perspective to it from an 'inside, outside' point of view: a Brazilian expat living in Sydney. You can expect that around May.

There is also Andrew Howe's masterpiece, the Encyclopedia of Socceroos. We're now deep into the design process and it is truly magnificent, and an enormous testament to Andrew who, for many years, maintained this data for love and because he knew that someone should. Pre-orders for the two special editions close this week - so don't miss out. You can expect that in May. Before then, there's other great reading from our friends in the UK (DeCoubertin Books) and USA (Powderhouse Press) including Bonita Mersiades' Whatever It Takes - the Inside Story of the FIFA Way which is out later this month in paperback and digital format. It's sure to be fascinating.

Happy reading!
