Chances are that most Australian football fans are not familiar with midfielder Charyl Chappuis, yet he is one of the best-known footballers from Thailand, one of our Asian Football Confederation neighbours.
Born in Kloten, Switzerland, in 1992, Charyl was a world champion with his country of birth when the Swiss won the U-17 World Cup in Nigeria in 2009.
