And now we are 5!

And now we are 5!

It's 5 years today since we published our first book, the First Edition Encyclopedia of Socceroos by Andrew Howe.

In those five years, we have published 40 books, and given new and previously published authors a voice.

Of the 40 books, 26 are solid football history, culture, and bios; nine are football fiction; four are books about Life; and one is a children's book (with all proceeds going to the Northern Beaches Community Cancer Charity).

Our authors are:

Texi Smith
Stuart Thomas
P.J. Laverty
Philip Micallef

Congratulations and thanks to all of our authors as well as our team of editors, designers, proofreaders, indexers and printers. We will single out the marvellous designer Leslie Priestley who has done most of our really good football books. It truly takes a village to produce a book.

The good news is we're not stopping there! We have another 10 books to be released before #WWC2023 including the exciting anthology of women football writers entitled 'Hear Us Roar'. By the time of the World Cup and #FWF23, it will be 50 books, with even more to come beyond that in 2023. Happy reading everyone!

Finally, thanks to all our readers. We love the fact that so many of you love to read, and so many of you are engaged in books about football as part of our culture.

Happy anniversary to us!
