Have you started the year with a spring in your step?
We have! There's so much to look forward to.
- The Football Writers' Festival from 15-17th July at Tar-Ra/Walsh Bay in Sydney.
- The Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand from 20th July to 20th August.
- And lots and lots of books from us. 2023 will be our biggest year yet so we hope you're ready for a pile of really good books coming your way.
We kick-off the year with something completely different: a children's book, Captain Courageous, written by the late Tracey Trinder and illustrated by Mark Kilmurry, about a young boy who finds the true meaning of courage within himself.
It's a charming read, beautifully illustrated, and with all proceeds going to help the Oncology and Infusion Centre at the Northern Beaches Hospital in Sydney, where Tracey received treatment.
If you have a child in your life - whether as your own, a niece or nephew, a godchild, grandchild, or friends - please buy Captain Courageous. Or maybe buy a few and donate them to local child care centres or schools? You're not only getting a good book, but also helping a really good cause.
